📍 Hybrid – North West HQ + UK field travel
💰 £40,000 – £60,000 + 20% bonus (25% for overachievement)

About the Role

Due to consistent double-digit year-on-year growth, a leading UK-based consumer brand is hiring a Trade & Product Marketing Manager to lead marketing execution across retail, online, and wholesale channels.

This is a newly created, highly commercial role reporting directly into the Managing Director, designed to bring structure, creativity, and impact to how products are positioned and campaigns are activated in the market.

Key Responsibilities

🔹 Channel Strategy:
Design tailored marketing strategies for online, national, and independent retail channels.

🔹 Product Marketing:
Define and communicate compelling product value propositions to both trade partners and end-users.

🔹 Campaign Execution:
Plan and manage promotional campaigns, seasonal trade calendars, launches, and instore/online activations.

🔹 Merchandising & POS:
Own execution of planograms, field merchandising, and best-in-class instore and ecommerce visibility.

🔹 Cross-Functional Alignment:
Collaborate closely with sales, product management, and operations to drive channel consistency and performance.

🔹 Asset & Content Leadership:
Deliver outstanding marketing toolkits and collateral, ensuring alignment with trade needs and brand standards.

🔹 Sponsorship Activation:
Leverage high-profile sponsorships and brand partnerships into commercially focused trade marketing campaigns.

What You’ll Need

✔ Experience in trade or channel marketing, ideally within retail, consumer goods, DIY, tools, or FMCG
✔ Strong grasp of campaign delivery across multiple retail channels
✔ Hands-on mindset with commercial awareness and a passion for execution
✔ Skilled at collaborating with sales, product and agency partners
✔ Excellent communication and project management skills

The Package

  • Base Salary: £40,000 – £60,000 DOE

  • Bonus: 20% OTE, with 25% available for exceeding targets

  • Benefits: Company car or allowance, matched pension, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays
